goodform

With goodform (working title) I am working on a minimalistic free/libre audio player that focuses on the more analytic and focused aspects of listening to music. That is first and foremost offering a high quality wave form representation and precise, intuitive tools for isolating and studying passages in audio files, e.g. for auditioning, rehearsing, transcribing or composing. The player will also serve perfectly fine for casual listening, but without the myriads of playlist/favorites/queues/equalizer/visualizations features otherwise crammed into most audio players out there. Last but not least, the player is targeted to be cross-platform and written in Rust.

If you would like to see this happen rather sooner than later, there's an easy way to help: Write me an email or open an issue on gitlab saying that you care, it's that simple. :)
