# Trial for a new logo icon

The logo icon that has been in use so far was merely a placeholder. This new design is now a candidate (on trial) for Hyper 8's first official logo icon design! Conceptually the logo is meant to have a fixed shape, but might adapt to different color schemes throughout different versions and places of use (that is, different gradients, different solid colors, etc.).

A rectangular silhouette almost identical to that of a slide frame (a subtly rounded square in whose center a landscape-oriented 17:10 aspect ratio rectangle has been cut out). The silhouette is filled with a lush mesh gradient whose color changes towards each corner (going from orange, to red, to violet, to blue). Next to that is a white, horizontally aligned, title-cased text in the font Rubik, which says "Hyper 8". The background is pitch black.

# Poster image cropping aid

Poster image form in the Hyper 8 editor: Different colored rectangles (pink, blue, image) are overlaid to visualize their differing aspect ratios and how they are cropped against each other. Additionally there are textual descriptions like "Video dimensions (9:16)" and "Thumbnail dimensions(16:9)"

# LQIP

Two lines - on each line the left side shows text, the right shows a varying amount of colorful overlapping circles. First line: "Part of Faircamp" with 6 grey-ish circles in the tones of dark gray, white, dark blue, brown grey Second line: "Part of /video" with around 20 circles, the ones from before plus a dozen more, featuring the colors black, pink, orange, turquoise and dark beige
